Our Chef Michele Lainati looks forward to welcoming you at Il Chiostro di Pontignano (The Cloister of Pontignano) at the Certosa di Pontignano, and invites you to savour the flavours of Sienese cuisine with a touch of modernity, creatively and imaginatively experimenting and combining seasonal ingredients of prime quality and freshness. Every day we make home-made pasta, from the traditional Pici (hand-rolled spaghetti) to gnocchi (small dough dumplings), in addition to appetising recipes for the younger guests, vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs.
Our Staff’s friendly hospitality, and their advice on the finest wines from Tuscany and elsewhere to be paired with the recipes that you have chosen, will make you feel at home!

from 7:00pm to 10:00pm
On Saturdays and Sundays we are also open for lunch, from midday to 2:30pm.
