BY CAR
The Certosa di Pontignano has a large free private car park.

From Firenze: take the “Siena Nord” exit on the Florence-Siena highway. At the first roundabout, take the first exit. After about 1 km, at the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the SR 222 regional road, and at the next roundabout, take the second exit onto the Strada Provinciale 102 provincial road. After about 5 km you will see the road Via della Certosa on the right, and shortly after, you will have reached your destination.

from Roma: on the Bettolle-Siena highway, after having passed Taverne d'Arbia, take the exit for the ring road (Strada Statale SS 73 Senese Aretina state road). At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Viale Pietro Toselli. After less than 2 km, at the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Montevarchi road Via Chiantigiana SP 408. Just before Ponte a Bozzone, on the left you will see the road for the Certosa di Pontignano (Via della Certosa), and you will reach your destination after about 1 km.
